This Thursday night we will be selling soft drinks at the Ulysses AGM at the Aero Ovals. We start at 5pm and finish at 9pm. Max has organised the coke van and a scout shelter. As Alexander has suggested on Facebook, we need to split the evening into two shifts, 5-7pm and 7-9pm. The 5pm shift will need to get there 15 minutes before 5pm to allow for setting up, similarly the 7pm shift will need to stay a little time afterwards to clean up. Entry is via Flora Ave. Car Parking outside entry gate. Early Shift (5-7pm): Bridget Late Shift (7-9pm): Matt, James & Brody

Scouts this week will be held at the MADEC Community College (133-137 Madden Avenue) from 6pm to 9pm. The cost to attend this first aid training course is $20 per Scout. The troop fund is subsidising the full cost of $35 per Scout. If you haven't paid the $20 you may still attend if you bring $20 to MADEC on Wednesday night and give it to a leader. Scouts who enrol on the night will receive their certificate the following week, not on the night. There will be no Scout meeting at the hall this Wednesday night. If you are not attending the first aid course we will see you the following Wednesday night at the normal time.

Raft Regatta normally culminates with a family lunch on the Sunday at 12 noon before heading home. Of course, all families are free to join us if they wish for lunch on Sunday, but the note we sent home said that the family lunch would be on the Monday at 12 noon. We have decided to change the camp ending time to 10:00am on Monday morning to allow families to unpack after a long weekend and get organised for the week ahead. Pick Up Time / Camp Finishes: Monday 12th March at 10am

We didn't have a chance to do any maintenance on the rafts last Wednesday due to the rain. The rafts aren't ready for the water yet, but we know that they float as we are using 'The Butterfly' and 'The Moth (with added buoyancy)' this year. So there is no testing of the rafts in the river tomorrow. On Wednesday night we must get all the maintenance work done on the rafts and load the trailer. It would be great to have a few Mums and Dads who are handy with tools to help us fix up the rafts this Wednesday night. Photographs of the last Raft Regatta held at Buxton's Bend, Nangiloc in 2009. We will be rafting in only 6 days!
