The 5th Mildura Scout Group's Venturer Unit, known as the 'Murray Venturer Unit' will recommence meeting at the 5th Mildura Scout Hall from next Thursday night from 7:30 to 9:30pm. We will meet every Thursday night during school term. We have chosen to meet on Thursday nights from 7:30 to 9:30pm so that we can meet with other Venturer Units and have joint nights on occasion. Max will be leading the Venturer Unit and Donna Munro (Queen's Scout) and I have offered to be assistant leaders. (I will remain as an Assistant Scout Leader also). The first night will be a planning / information / learning night. We plan to get the Unit up and running quickly so that we can offer the 5th Mildura Scouts, who are ready to move onto Venturers, an option to stay part of the 5th Mildura Scout Group. Of course, we also welcome new Venturers who have not previously been in Scouting to join us. The Venturer Unit program is based on 'Community Involvement', Personal Growth', &#

The meeting will be finished in time to collect your scout at 9:30. Hopefully we will see many of you on Wednesday night. Terry Dyke President 5th Mildura Scout Group Committee
