URGENT Working Bee - This Saturday at 9am

We need an urgent working bee to clean up the yard at the Hall. The working bee will take place this Saturday (31st October)at 9am. We need to mow and trim the lawn / edges and we want to remove the timber. So we need mowers, edgers and more important we need people! Please please please, we need the help. Also please consider Group Committee, it is something we need. We have a terrific Scout Troop. Think about it please.

Term 4 2009 Program

Again we have a very full term! I hope everyone is ready for a great time. I encourage every parent to get involved. Never feel that you are not welcome to stay for the night, come in, stay, join in! 14th October: (Scout Night W1): Badgework, Rover Camp Money Due 17th & 18th October: JOTA / JOTI at Nichols Point, $1 badge, uniform. 21st October: Games Night – Bring a board game! 28th October: Ray’s Tent City Night - **UNIFORM** 4th November: Badgework & Rover Camp Pack 6th - 8th November: Rover Camp - **UNIFORM** 11th November: Ten Pin Bowling - **SCARVES ONLY** 18th November: First Aid – Ambulance Station **UNIFORM** 25th November: Karate Night - **SCARVES ONLY** 2nd December: Mock Emergency 9th December: Final Badgework night & Mega Hall Cleanup 16th December: Break-up, Bridge to Apex bike ride & BBQ Download the term 4 program . Jamboree Of The Air (JOTA) Jamboree Of The Internet (JOTI). Yes, it is on again! Come in and talk to the world! This is an international day for Scouts & Guides! Where people use whatever means to make contact with people on the other side of the planet! Information: Where: Nichols Point Scout Centre Date: 17th – 18th October Time: 12 pm Saturday to 2 pm Sunday Bring: Food & Drinks (Cooking facilities available) Bedding and sleeping gear if staying overnight $1 for a badge, plus a little extra $$ if you want pizza for tea Wear: Uniform Laptops: If you wish to bring your own laptops, that is fine, we can set them up on the day Registration: On the day as you enter the hall There will be lots of activities running.
